(RICHMOND)—The concept behind the EasyLiving Home program is not hard to understand. It is a certification program designed to encourage builders to include cost-effective features that enhance the accessibility and visitability of homes.
Pioneered in Georgia, the program is new to Virginia. The state’s first EasyLiving Home will be formally certified by the nonprofit Virginia Assistive Technology Solutions, Inc., recently licensed to do so, in a ceremony for invitees at 2332 Thomas Kenney Drive in Glen Allen on March 13 at 10 a.m.
